cd9e18a72b - fixed: operator<< (FArchive &arc, secspecial_t &p) erroneously read the old special in the compatibility handler as a short, but it must be read as an int.
- bumped savegame version to bring it in line with a GZDoom exclusive change.

71c7f2b42c - added 'floorterrain' and 'ceilingterrain' sector properties for UDMF. These will take precedence over texture based terrain if used.
'ceilingterrain' is needed because the top of 3D-floors refers to the model sector's ceiling, so in order to give a 3D floor a terrain it must be assignable to the sector's ceiling.
Note that although it is basically the same property, its actual function bears no relevance to its use in Eternity.

bd8513c063 - made sector_t::damageamount an int so that it can hold TELEFRAG_DAMAGE.
- marked all places where sector_t::special needs to be addressed for the damage overhaul.

NOTE: This commit will not compile!

7b017f472a - fixed: Due to the default skybox being moved to the global level data, there was insufficient information to distinguish between using the default skybox or the regular sky. Fixed by adding two new sector flags which get set by a 0-tid SkyPicker. 2015-11-25 11:49:34 +01:00

f3f209160e - Renamed plane flags from SECF_* to PLANEF_*.
- Changed Heretic's plat raise type to use a flag to block further sector movement
  instead of keeping the dead thinker around.

760f70d3f1 - Changed compilation for g_doom, g_heretic, g_hexen and g_strife folders
so that all files are included by a central one instead of compiling 
  each one separately. This speeds up the compilation process by 25%
  when doing a complete rebuild in Visual C.
- Cleaned up more header dependencies.

8ca7c05e9d - Changed FImageCollection to return translated texture indices so
that animated icons can be done with it.
- Changed FImageCollection to use a TArray to hold its data.
- Fixed: SetChanHeadSettings did an assignment instead of comparing
  the channel ID witg CHAN_CEILING.
- Changed sound sequence names for animated doors to FNames.
- Automatically fixed: DCeiling didn't properly serialize its texture id.
- Replaced integers as texture ID representation with a specific new type
  to track down all potentially incorrect uses and remaining WORDs used
  for texture IDs so that more than 32767 or 65535 textures can be defined.

9e42cdaf08 - Replaced the naive area sound implementation with one that takes into
consideration the size and shape of the sector producing the sound. See
  the lifts on Doom 2 MAP30 and compare with previous versions.
- Fixed: The stop sound for sector-based sound sequences was not played with
  the CHAN_AREA flag.
- Removed the distinction between S_Sound() and S_SoundID() functions. Use
  S_Sound() for both names and IDs from now on.

e77f83fbf6 - Added new Scroll_Wall special to allow more control over wall scrolling.
Since it uses fixed point parameters it can only be used in scripts though.
- Added flags parameters to all wall scroller specials that didn't use
  all 5 args.
- Separated scrolling of the 3 different texture parts of a sidedef.
  While doing this I did some more restructuring of the sidedef structure
  and changed it so that all state changes to sidedefs that affect rendering 
  have to be made with access functions. This is not of much use to the
  software renderer but it allows far easier caching of rendering data
  for OpenGL because the only place I need to check is in the access functions.

ca43ea7345 - Fixed: A_CustomMissile with aimmode 2 ignored spawnofs_xy.
- Changed savegame versioning so that the written version is never lower
  than the minmum one reported as compatible. 
- Added mirrored movement modes for linked sectors.
- Added Eternity-style initialization for linked sectors as a new subtype
  of Static_Init.
- Added linked sectors. The control sector determines how they move but if
  any one of the linked sectors is blocked, movement for all linked sectors
  will be affected. This will allow lifts consisting out of more than one
  sector without the risk of breaking them if only one of the sectors is
  blocked.
- Fixed: A_Mushroom created an actor on the stack.

170b633e91 - added two new things which can set a sector's color without the need of tags
or scripts. ColorSetter (#9038) sets the sector's color and FadeSetter (#9039)
  sets the fog color.
- added new flags MF5_ALWAYSFAST and MF5_NEVERFAST. These flags unconditionally
  enable or disable fast movement logic, regardless of skill settings.
- added an abstraction layer for skill related settings. This is a preparation
  for implementing custom skill definitions but right now all it does is
  returning the original values but keeping the related information all in one
  place

e08da03a3d - Increased precision of texture scaling factors to full fixed point. In the process
I got rid of the old tx and ty CVARs because they made the texture scaling
  much more complicated than it was actually needed (and besides, they were completely
  useless except for testing purposes anyway.)

15681d0588 - Added a StartConversation special that allows automatic activation of Strife
dialogs.
- Added Thing_Raise special that allows Arch-Vile like resurrections from scripts
  or DECORATE states.
- Added a RadiusDamageFactor property for actors. This replaces the hard coded
  factor of 0.25 for Hexen's players.
- Added new SpawnProjectile function to ACS. It's the same as Thing_Projectile2
  but the projectile is specified by name, not spawn ID.
- Added MAPINFO option to set the compatibility flags. If this is done these
  explicit settings will take precedence over the compatflags CVAR.
