9342898361 - Added support for GTK3 (thanks to "MineyMe" and edward-san)
- Replaced GTK/OS X (note different from Cocoa) clipboard code with SDL clipboard API.
- Removed requirement to link to GTK in order to compile with GTK support.
	- GTK is no longer init'd if the GTK IWAD picker is not used.
	- Our usage of GTK is such that the dynamic loader can work with both GTK2 and GTK3 depending on what's installed.
	- Since we're accumulating a lot of library loaders I've built a generic interface as FModule which replaces TOptWin32Proc and the loaders in the OpenAL and Fluidsynth code.

db86385cf6 - removed STACK_ARGS.
The only reason this even existed was that ZDoom's original VC projects used __fastcall. The CMake generated project do not, they stick to __cdecl.
Since no performance gain can be seen by using __fastcall the best course of action is to just remove all traces of it from the source and forget that it ever existed.

51b05d331d - replaced AActor::vel and player_t::Vel with a floating point version.
- Converted P_MovePlayer and all associated variables to floating point because this wasn't working well with a mixture between float and fixed.

Like the angle commit this has just been patched up to compile, the bulk of work is yet to be done.

4d2a52418f - added an errorlog option.
This cuts down on as much message noise as possible, outputs everything to a file specified as a parameter and then quits immediately, allowing this to run from a batch that's supposed to check a larger list of files for errors.
Multiple outputs get appended if the file already exists.

c677dd37f5 - changed I_PrintStr so that it doesn't add everything to the RichEdit control right away.
The RichEdit control can become quite slow with large amounts of text being added constantly.
Since anything that gets added while the game is running can't be seen anyway unless a fatal error is produced, it buffers the text locally now, without any processing, and only adds it to the RichEdit control in case a fatal error causes the control to be displayed again.

682f3e230a - fixed: We should not try calling unicode functions on ASCII strings.
Should ZDoom ever switch to unicode I_GetLongPathName will have to be adjusted, but for now it must call GetLongPathNameA, not GetLongPathNameW.

48b926e5b4 - check +logfile explicitly at the start of execution. Due to the custom CVAR rewrite it would get called so late that it'd miss half of the log.
- added version check for Windows 8. I also would have liked to add 8.1 but due to some incredibly stupid changes in the version API it's no longer possible to reliably retrieve the correct Windows version for later builds.

28e5cc536a Add some awareness of short file names
- Added I_GetLongPathName(). It wraps the Win32 API's GetLongPathName().
  DArgs::CollectFiles() now calls this for every argument it processes, so
  any arguments passed using short file names will be converted to long
  file names. This is mainly of interest so that savegames will never
  record the short file name, which can change based on what else is in
  the directory.

98ac224e53 - Use gitinfo.h instead of svnrevision.h for versioning.
- Use functions in gitinfo.cpp to retrieve the strings from gitinfo.h so
  that changes to gitinfo.h only require recompiling one file instead of
  several.

ede622bb93 - Change the text when riched20.dll cannot be loaded, and also display it with MessageBox, since
it's far too early to be used with I_FatalError. (But since this should always be available on
  every Windows version after 95, this should be a non-issue.)
- Make unknown OS versions default to Windows 2000 instead of Windows 95.

0b2c2e1cb3 - Use the Unicode RichEdit control instead of the MBCS version, so as to enforce the use
of code page 1252 for output text. This is noticeable, for example, with the FMOD copyright
  notice where the copyright symbol appears as ゥ (halfwidth katakana small U) with code page 932.

f09420fce7 - Modified the event-driven ticks to use the same code for calculating the
time as the polled timer so that the timer does not start running until the
  first time it is used.
- Removed the srand() call from D_DoomMain(), because it started the game
  timer running prematurely, and we never call rand() anywhere. (Not to
  mention, even if we did use rand(), always seeding it with 0 is rather
  pointless.)

a732687548 - Changed APlayerPawn::DamageFade to a PalEntry from 3 floats.
- Removed #pragma warnings from cmdlib.h and fixed the places where they were 
  still triggered.
  These #pragmas were responsible for >90% of the GCC warnings that were not
  listed in VC++.
- Fixed one bug in the process: DSeqNode::m_Atten was never adjusted when the
  parameter handling of the sound functions for attenuation was changed.
  Changed m_Atten to a float and fixed the SNDSEQ parser to set proper values. 
  Also added the option to specify attenuation with direct values in addition 
  to the predefined names.

7371c4a516 - Changed random seed initialization so that it uses the system's
cryptographically secure random number generator, if available, instead
  of the current time.
- Changed the random number generator from Lee Killough's algorithm to the
  SFMT607 variant of the Mersenne Twister.

c2aab5dd46 - Added the -norun parameter to quit the game just before video
initialization. To be used to check for errors in scripts without actually
  running the game.
- Added the -stdout parameter to the Windows version to send all output to
  a console, like the Linux version has done all along.

5eeaa130fd - Went back to using RDTSC for timing on Win32. Ironically,
QueryPerformanceCounter() is obviously using the TSC for its timing on my
  machine, yet the overhead it has to do to keep the timer sane is apparently
  noticeable on a few maps. I suppose I should at some time check
  clock_gettime() and see if it has similar issues on Linux.

666e40c8bb - Added MF5_CANTSEEK flag to prevent seeker missiles from homing in on
certain actors and added an option to APowerInvisibility to set this
  flag when active.
- Added map specific automap backgrounds.
- Fixed: Voodoo dolls did not play a sound when dying.
- Added colorized error messages to DECORATE and made a few more error
  conditions that do not block further parsing not immediately abort.
- Made all errors in CreateNewActor not immediately fatal so that the
  rest of the DECORATE lump can be parsed normally to look for more errors.
- Fixed: Defining classes with the same name as their immediate base class
  was legal. It should not be allowed that a class has another one with the
  same name in its ancestry.
- Fixed: Formatting of the intermission screen on Heretic, Hexen and Strife
  was broken. Changed it to use WI_Drawpercent which does it properly and
  also allows showing percentage in these games now.
- Fixed: The MAPINFO parser ignored missing terminating braces of the last
  block in the file.
