For some files that had the Doom Source license attached but saw heavy external contributions over the years I added a special note to license all original ZDoom code under BSD.
(Is there anyway to tone down GCC's warning level? It outputs too many false positives for potentially uninitialized variables in which the genuine errors get drowned.)
- Converted P_MovePlayer and all associated variables to floating point because this wasn't working well with a mixture between float and fixed.
Like the angle commit this has just been patched up to compile, the bulk of work is yet to be done.
Patched up everything so that it compiles without errors again. This only addresses code related to some compile error. A large portion of the angle code still uses angle_t and converts back and forth.
* removed all code for dealing with z-displacing portals in the iterator loops. This would cause too many problems so I decided to scrap any provisions for allowing interactive portals with z-displacement. They will remain restricted to pure teleporter portals.
* changed spechit to carry a position along with the special line. If something is activated through an interactive portal this is needed to calculate movement.
* pass the abovementioned position to CheckForPushSpecial.
* collect touched portal lines in a second array analogous to spechit.
* use FMultiBlockThingsIterator in P_TestMobjZ.
This was to resolve some circular dependencies with the portal code.
The most notable changees:
* FTextureID was moved from textures.h to doomtype.h because it is frequently needed in files that don't want to do anything with actual textures.
* split off the parts from p_maputl into a separate header.
* consolidated all blockmap related data into p_blockmap.h
* split off the polyobject parts into po_man.h
- major overhaul of the static sector damage system:
* consolidated special based damage, Sector_SetDamage and UDMF properties into one set of damage properties. The parallel handling that could lead to double damage infliction was removed. This also means that damage through sector specials can be retroactively changed through Sector_SetDamage.
* all special cases were turned into flags. The new system can switch between Strife's delayed damage and regular damage, and it can also set whether terrain splashes are used or not. It also has access to the special properties of the end-level type (i.e. switching off god mode and ending the level.)
* the damage related flags are accessible through Sector_ChangeFlags, not the damage functions themselves.
BOUNCE_MBF and BOUNCE_UseSeeSound, too, when clearing one of these flags.
- Fixed: When adding the AVOIDMELEE code the code was accidentally changed so that
friendly monsters could no longer acquire targets by themselves.
- Renamed WIF_BOT_MELEE to WIF_MELEEWEAPON because it's no longer a bot only flag.
- Added MBF's monster_backing feature as an actor flag: AVOIDMELEE.

of all types on the same linedef. Also added a 'first side only' flag. This
is not usable from Hexen or Doom format maps though but in preparation of
the UDMF format discussed here:
http://www.doomworld.com/vb/source-ports/43145-udmf-v0-99-specification-draft-aka-textmap/
- Changed linedef's alpha property from a byte to fixed point after seeing that
255 wasn't handled to be fully opaque.
- fixed a GCC warning in fmodsound.cpp

and P_TryMove. Moved BlockingLine and BlockingMobj into AActor because
the global variables can be easily overwritten with certain DECORATE
constructs.
SVN r894 (trunk)
that the drivers will treat a BackBufferCount of 0 as a request for
double buffering.
- Fixed: Unsetting a cvar did not remove it from the list of tab
completions.
- Added "" as a synonym for "nullimage" in SBARINFO.
- Fixed: MAKESAVESIG's stringifier in version.h did not work as expected.
It stringified the passed macro name, not the value of the macro.
- Moved DCajunMaster off the DObject hierarchy.
- Changed DCajunMaster::getspawned into a TArray of FStrings. It was
mysteriously being left pointing to uninitialized memory during the
final GC at exit and crashing.
- Fixed: The code that removed hexdd.wad from the list of IWADs when
hexen.wad was not present did not work.
SVN r861 (trunk)
- The stat meters now return an FString instead of sprintfing into a fixed
output buffer.
- NOASM is now automatically defined when compiling for a non-x86 target.
- Some changes have been made to the integral types in doomtype.h:
- For consistancy with the other integral types, byte is no longer a
synonym for BYTE.
- Most uses of BOOL have been change to the standard C++ bool type. Those
that weren't were changed to INTBOOL to indicate they may contain values
other than 0 or 1 but are still used as a boolean.
- Compiler-provided types with explicit bit sizes are now used. In
particular, DWORD is no longer a long so it will work with both 64-bit
Windows and Linux.
- Since some files need to include Windows headers, uint32 is a synonym
for the non-Windows version of DWORD.
- Removed d_textur.h. The pic_t struct it defined was used nowhere, and that
was all it contained.

were supposed to hate them.
- Since I was editing the file anyway I added checks for Heretic's and Strife's
damaging floor types to DCajunMaster::IsDangerous.
- Added a NULL pointer check to DCajunMaster::TurnToAng because a crash log
indicated that this can happen.
- Fixed: Strife's energy pod contains 20 units when dropped by monsters.
To achieve this I added an Ammo.DropAmount property because there are
no other means to control this from inside a conversation script.
