2ee36e8b99 Rename qfot_type_t.ty to meta 
When I did up a ruamoko implementation of a type encoding dumper, I
named the field meta, which feels much better than ty.

f58c2fef5a Switch QF's quaterions from wxyz to xyzw. 
After messing with SIMD stuff for a little, I think I now understand why
the industry went with xyzw instead of the mathematical wxyz. Anyway, this
will make for less pain in the future (assuming I got everything).

f8606ebab8 Fix a object file segfault when spaces have no data. 
ie, don't attempt to copy memory from a null pointer (just copy the null
pointer).

34bcf7faab Do a pure/const/noreturn/format attribute pass. 
I always wanted these, but as gcc now provides warnings for functions that
could do with such attributes, finding all the functions is much easier.

59b04dbcca Make many qfo int fields unsigned. 
I don't remember why I thought signed was a good idea, but unsigned does
make more sense for most fields.

7a504f8983 Use float for enum defs in v6 progs. 
The values are (or should be!) written as floats, so don't give any
debuggers hernias when displaying enums in v6 progs.

6eb6b6c0ba Change pointer_t to unsigned and clean up the mess. 
It doesn't make sense to have negative pointers. The size of the commit is
from enabling gcc's -Wtype-limits warning and cleaning up that mess too.

d8a5d6745f Add a param flag to defs. 
It is necessary to know if a def is a function parameter so it can be
treated as initialized by the flow analyzer. The support for the flag in
object files is, at this stage, purely for debugging purposes.

9691b50f0f Make .type_encodings more useful. 
Rather than just a pointer, it is now a struct with a pointer and size
indicating the extent of the type encodings block.

eb5581c7bd Fix class type encoding. 
First, the class def needed to be created before the class type, then the
def space indices had to be set early, otherwise the relocs wound up with
space 0 instead of the correct space.

4ef4711c3b Make the type encodings findable. 
The base of the type encodings block is given by the .type_encodings def.
The block begins with a "null" type (4 words of 0), followed by the first
type encoding.

At some stage, I will need to add information for extended def information
(32 bit offset, type encoding, other?), but this is good for initial
testing.

f1d9570dc8 Fix constant value type handling. 
Rename immediate.[ch] to value.[ch] and clean up the mess.

Add convert_value() to convert the type of a value (only scalar types).

02a70ebe1c Remove the auxfunction manipulation from the compiler proper. 
It was broken code in the first place (realloc and pointers), and is
redundant with the new linking process.

66447df6b3 Undo the offset relocation of local defs. 
The debug info expects local defs to be 0 based, so once relocations in
the progs data have been completed, undo the local def offset relocation
so that the correct offsets will be written to the debug info.

4a99f8dcbd Write the linker output to progs.dat. 
There is much breakage, but qfcc now produces a progs.dat from either
progs.src or object files. Better yet, the progs.src result is passed
through the linker, removing much duplicate code.

5d9fbc2d6d Set the space ids to the destination space. 
This is mostly redundant, but it allows qfo spaces to get out of order
without breaking everything.

66b255afbf First stage of the linker rewrite. 
Strings, code and data spaces are "merged". Various offsets are updated.
Still to do:
 o  Merge reloc, def, function and line data.
 o  Merge type data.
 o  Update def and function type pointers.
 o  Resolve external defs and check for duplicate defs.
 o  Perform relocations.
 o  anything else I've forgotten :)
