a2d50395d6 [qw] Correct client shutdown order
This is similar to the change in nq (and for the same reason), making
sure that client shutdown (and thus config writing) happens before input
system shutdown.

12c84046f3 [cvar] Make cvars properly typed
This is an extremely extensive patch as it hits every cvar, and every
usage of the cvars. Cvars no longer store the value they control,
instead, they use a cexpr value object to reference the value and
specify the value's type (currently, a null type is used for strings).
Non-string cvars are passed through cexpr, allowing expressions in the
cvars' settings. Also, cvars have returned to an enhanced version of the
original (id quake) registration scheme.

As a minor benefit, relevant code having direct access to the
cvar-controlled variables is probably a slight optimization as it
removed a pointer dereference, and the variables can be located for data
locality.

The static cvar descriptors are made private as an additional safety
layer, though there's nothing stopping external modification via
Cvar_FindVar (which is needed for adding listeners).

While not used yet (partly due to working out the design), cvars can
have a validation function.

Registering a cvar allows a primary listener (and its data) to be
specified: it will always be called first when the cvar is modified. The
combination of proper listeners and direct access to the controlled
variable greatly simplifies the more complex cvar interactions as much
less null checking is required, and there's no need for one cvar's
callback to call another's.

nq-x11 is known to work at least well enough for the demos. More testing
will come.

7d059a0b56 [client] Merge nq and qw cl_view
They've been near-identical for years, now they're only one. It proved
necessary to start merging the HUD code which for now is just a few cvar
declarations (not even init), but that should be a separate set of
commits.

a9bd436837 [build] Autoconfiscate printf format attribute
I don't know if gnu_printf is appropriate for all cases, but it is
needed for mingw32.

34bcf7faab Do a pure/const/noreturn/format attribute pass.
I always wanted these, but as gcc now provides warnings for functions that
could do with such attributes, finding all the functions is much easier.

06622fa164 -mem now also works as a cvar (and there was much rejoycing:). sv_mem_size
(server) and cl_mem_size (client), in megabytes (ie, same as -mem). I haven't
done nq yet as I'm uncertain what to /call/ it :)

c5aec15569 This prepares for moving the net_svc code to a branch allowing both network
code cleanups and general performance work to be developed in relative peace.
While cleaning up the networking code /is/ important, fixing QF's perfomance
issues is of much higher priority.

f78b973978 move the api headers into include/QF and clean up (most of) the resulting mess.
target specific files that I don't build won't compile yet. just put QF/
infront of the offending headers.

Also move ver_check into libqfutils
