re-arrange things so __attribute__ and __builtin_expect are properly
autoconfiscated so rcsid will continue to work with gcc 3.3

run indent over all the .c files using qw's .indent.pro. The real reason for
this is I mistakenly did so while making some other changes (which I made sure
were NOT in the checkin:)
