aa14c110d3 Remove --enable-shared from first example of installation commands; 
many people were using ignorant of whether or not their system
supported dynamically-linked shared libraries.

766d12960c (TEXT_FILES): New variable. 
(info): Use it.
(MAKEINFO_FLAGS): New variable.  Use it in TEXT_FILES targets.
(DIST_FILES): Remove version.texi.
(clean): rm version.texi and $(TEXT_FILES).
