c1d982a854 MinGW: Add dllimport/dllexport attributes when compiling with clang 
The GCC compiler will automatically export all symbols on MinGW, but this is not the case for clang.  Add the `__declspec` attributes when compiling with clang on MinGW.

1f2eba393c Use __has_include to choose between <Block.h> and <objc/blocks_runtime.h> 
Most Linux distributions and MSYS2 include a version of BlocksRuntime which includes the `Block.h` header.

fc0c0da188 Remove last vestiges of MIXED ABI support (it didn't really work), and change code to assume that use of the apple runtime means we have the nonfragile ABI (true for modern apple systems we may be interested in using). Regenerate configure script. 2020-04-14 14:56:17 +01:00

1e8c1d3855 headers: define GS_HAS_DECLARED_PROPERTIES macro 
To keep compatibility with compilers prior to Objective-C 2.0 support
(added in the GCC 4.6 series), we are unable to always declare @property
attributes in classes. However, compatibility with dot-syntax
applications require us to define properties if we can.

We already had some checks for the GS_HAS_DECLARED_PROPERTIES macro to
see whether we could or could not declare properties (or whether we
should fall back to manual getter/setter defining). However, it seems
this macro never got defined.

This commit adds this macro, checking whether we possess either GCC >=
4.6 or Clang.

12745b6fde Don't export functions that use id if we're not in Objective-C mode. I'm not entirely sure what this gs_consume stuff does, since it's not documented, but it looks a lot like it might be nonsense - it's almost certainly broken in ARC mode, where this static inline function will be emitted as objc_release() and will free the object.

56a002dae7 Rewrote NSProxy's -retain / -release to be the same as NSObject, not its own ad-hoc thing. 
Added declaration of __bridge for use in non-ARC mode.

Tweaked arrayWithObjects:count: to take a const id* parameter, to avoid ARC
treating it as a write-back parameter.
