You need to enter a privacy password. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password, because it is possible (though a bit unlikely) for others to see it in transit.
"Digest Mode" is a different way of reading . Instead of receiving an email every time someone posts to the list, you will receive an email once per day containing all list messages posted that day.
