cd30408675 [gamecode] Rename ev_quat to ev_quaternion
I much prefer the full name, though the short version is easier to type.

afd1eb775b [gamecode] Rename ev_pointer to ev_ptr
Rather short (no worse than ev_int, though) but more consistency is
usually a good thing.

cfe7c44df0 [gamecode] Rename ev_integer to ev_int
And other related fields so integer is now int (and uinteger is uint). I
really don't know why I went with integer in the first place, but this
will make using macros easier for dealing with types.

2df64384c1 [gamecode] Clean up string_t and pointer_t
They are both gone, and pr_pointer_t is now pr_ptr_t (pointer may be a
little clearer than ptr, but ptr is consistent with things like intptr,
and keeps the type name short).

6d5ffa9f8e [build] Move to non-recursive make
There's still some cleanup to do, but everything seems to be working
nicely: `make -j` works, `make distcheck` passes. There is probably
plenty of bitrot in the package directories (RPM, debian), though.

The vc project files have been removed since those versions are way out
of date and quakeforge is pretty much dependent on gcc now anyway.

Most of the old Makefile.am files are now Makemodule.am. This should
allow for new Makefile.am files that allow local building (to be added
on an as-needed bases). The current remaining Makefile.am files are for
standalone sub-projects.a

The installable bins are currently built in the top-level build
directory. This may change if the clutter gets to be too much.

While this does make a noticeable difference in build times, the main
reason for the switch was to take care of the growing dependency issues:
now it's possible to build tools for code generation (eg, using qfcc and
ruamoko programs for code-gen).

ab3d91f0c3 [qfcc] Clean up simple type checking
All simple type checks are now done using is_* helper functions. This
will help hide the implementation details of the type system from the
rest of the compiler (especially the changes needed for type aliasing).

4cef9792f4 [util] Make hash-tables semi-thread-safe
They take a pointer to a free-list used for hashlinks so the hashlink
pools can be per-thread. However, hash tables that are not updated are
always thread-safe, so this affects only updates. progs_t has been set
up such that it is easy for multiple progs within one thread can share
hashlinks.

9dbc81432a [qfcc] Use full type for differentiating values
This fixes the problem of using nil for two different compound types
within the one expression. The problem is all compound types have the
same low-level type (ev_invalid) and this caused the two different nils
to have the same type when taken back up to expression level.

df7c08a010 Add support for doubles to Ruamoko
Only as scalars, I still need to think about what to do for vectors and
quaternions due to param size issues. Also, doubles are not yet
guaranteed to be correctly aligned.

cc27949a34 Ensure pointer values always have a type
The dags generator was creating a pointer value with no type which
caused print_statement to segfault.

f58c2fef5a Switch QF's quaterions from wxyz to xyzw.
After messing with SIMD stuff for a little, I think I now understand why
the industry went with xyzw instead of the mathematical wxyz. Anyway, this
will make for less pain in the future (assuming I got everything).

34bcf7faab Do a pure/const/noreturn/format attribute pass.
I always wanted these, but as gcc now provides warnings for functions that
could do with such attributes, finding all the functions is much easier.

ca0b03687f Change the naming of ALLOC's free-list.
Rather than prefixing free_ to the supplied name, suffix _freelist to the
supplied name. The biggest advantage of this is it allows the free-list to
be a structure member. It also cleans up the name-space a little.

eb8fd55677 Move set.c into libQFutil.
Also move the ALLOC/FREE macros from qfcc.h to QF/alloc.h (needed to for
set.c).

Both modules are more generally useful than just for qfcc (eg, set
builtins for ruamoko).

5725c5124c Rename the storage_class_t enum values.
With the intoduction of the statement type enum came a prefix clash. As
"st" makes sense for "statement type", I decided that "storage class"
should be "sc". Although there haven't been any problems as of yet, I
decided it would be a good idea to clean up the clash now. It also helps
avoid confusion (I was a bit surprised after working with st_assign etc to
be reminded of st_extern etc).

4c65d9f2a4 Fix up the definitely lost memory blocks.
qfcc isn't meant to be long running, so I'm not super worried about memory
usage, but definitely lost memory blocks when compiling just a single
function seems a tad sloppy.
