d4d795bdb2 Change the way the image for the cursor gets passed on to the backend. 
The old way could only work for 8 bit data.

19130e125d Check for "#if !NO_GNUSTEP" instead of "#ifndef NO_GNUSTEP" as 
base has changed this to always being defined.
