28e83b27a1 Make sure / or C:\ doesn't get search by idFileSystemLocal::ListMods()
That could happen if the searchpath was "" (like the default value of
fs_cdpath ...).
I don't think it could do any damage, but it's confusing (if "developer"
CVar is enabled) and pointless.
It caused lots of "Non-portable: path contains uppercase characters: .."
Warnings, which now also become more readable by adding a newline.

efd814a4e0 Fall back to demo/ if no gamedata can be found in base/
The demo game data is in demo/ instead of base/, so try to fall back
to that to cause minimal confusion.

befe732dbb Fix new[]/delete missmatches and memory leaks found by clang's ASAN
Sometimes memory was allocated with new[] but freed with delete instead
of delete[], which is wrong.
And there were some small memory leaks, too.
Furtunately clang's AddressSanitizer detected all that so I could easily
fix it.

(There seem to be some more small memory leaks which are harder to fix,
though)

9958e3807c Win32: Don't access FILE::_file, use _fileno() instead
It has always been ugly to do that with and MSVC2015 doesn't seem to
work at all.

d234bc60e9 Replace custom unzip functions with standard ones
unz[SG]etCurrentFileInfoPosition() isn't needed anymore,
because newer minizip versions have unz[SG]etOffset() for
that purpose.

2e47865234 Use updated minizip version for unzip
The implementation is now in framework/minizip/*
instead of framework/Unzip.cpp

This was version 0.15beta, now we use 1.1 from
zlib 1.2.7/contrib/minizip

Some code had to be adjusted for this, but it got
cleaner on the way

e55753e626 Introduce fs_configpath
Split fs_savepath for config files. This is in preparation for
moving the writable paths on *nix to $XDG_DATA_HOME and
$XDG_CONFIG_HOME.
Affected files: config.spec, *.cfg, doomkey, xpkey.

e7482b4957 Port all thread related functions to SDL
Setting thread priorities has been dropped (it is not portable).
The background download thread now exits gracefully.
g_threads is not public anymore.

736ec20d4d Untangle the epic precompiled.h mess
Don't include the lazy precompiled.h everywhere, only what's
required for the compilation unit.
platform.h needs to be included instead to provide all essential
defines and types.
All includes use the relative path to the neo or the game
specific root.
Move all idlib related includes from idlib/Lib.h to precompiled.h.
precompiled.h still exists for the MFC stuff in tools/.
Add some missing header guards.

There are no demo pk4 files available compatible to this 1.3.1
codebase. Add a note about it.

f9dd2f93eb Fix platform dependent thread function definitions
Thread return types are different between platforms, and its
probably not a good idea to return something of a different size,
cast the callback and expect it to not crash.
